Background
The Greek Welfare Centre SA is the welfare agency of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia in South Australia. The centre is a non-profit; community based human service organisation, established in 1979, which provides a range of services and programs for people from Greek speaking backgrounds.
Our Mission
The Centre’s purpose is to develop, provide and promote high quality culturally and linguistically appropriate services that empower the most marginalised and isolated individuals and families in the Greek community.
Our Vision
Our Vision is for excellence in the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate services, care, advocacy and support to the Greek community. To achieve this vision the Greek Welfare Centre will work in partnership with Government, service providers and other organisations to ensure that Greek South Australians are offered support and assistance.
