Every Friday morning our meeting room at the Greek Welfare Centre is transformed into the fun and active space of our Centre’s playgroup!

We endeavour to foster a safe and inclusive program where children are encouraged to use their remarkable social skills, improve their gross and fine motor skills and of course, exert their creativity.

Our program follows a thematic approach and incorporates the various interests of the children attending. Various play, arts & craft, song and reading activities assist the children’s learning in a welcoming, calm and relaxed environment. Major celebrations such as Pascha and Christmas are strongly embraced.

Our playgroup is unique in that it offers a bilingual program which provides cultural awareness of Orthodox traditions and the promotion of the Greek language. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to interact with each other and spend some fun and creative time with their child/ren.
