Greek Welfare Centre accepted all non-perishable items to distribute for families in need. However, this year’s focus was on women and children. Greek Welfare Centre would like also to thank all the supporters for their kind donations throughout the year. A reminder that all cash donations are tax deductible.
Carers come in all shapes and sizes; young and old, knowing and unknowing! The caring role is often very demanding affecting a Carer both emotionally and physically. For the second time we hosted a MOVIE NIGHT. Colleagues, family and friends joined and supported us to raise awareness of the Centre; the valuable work we do to help those in the community. All enjoyed an opportunity to mingle, followed by the screening of the movie “Wonder” with Julia Roberts.
The Greek Welfare Centre of SA is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. The Greek Welfare Centre’s services for the aged are supported by the Australian Government Department of Health, services for the disabled are supported by Disability SA and our Health and Wellbeing programs by SA Health’s Office for the Ageing.
